The Gala Awards for a Clean Environment awarded the environmental projects of 2025

The Clean Environment Awards Gala brought together, on December 11, representatives of public authorities, the business environment, non-governmental organizations and civil society, to celebrate initiatives and projects that actively contribute to environmental protection and the transition to a sustainable economy.
The event, now in its 17th edition, presented and awarded examples of good practices in fields such as environmental education, waste management, circular economy, demonstrating that change is possible when responsibility is doubled by real involvement.
During the gala they were awarded 3 awards and a mention in the PROJECTS category, 1 award in the EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS categoryrecognizing the efforts of some organizations and institutions that had a significant impact on the environment, through projects with measurable results and benefits for communities:
WINNERS in the category PROJECTS:
- School Center for Inclusive Education “St. Vasile” Craiova – ProBleu – Clean Water Guardians: Protecting Freshwater Ecosystems
- Climato Sphere Association – Compost Academy
- The Da Vinci System Association – Aries EcoLab
- NOTE – ECOTECA Association – ECO School
WINNER in the category EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS – Nicolae Bălcescu secondary school, Baia Mare
Also, the competition prizes were awarded during the event Journalism for a clean environment!where the winners were designated:

- First place– Maia Bondici Euronews with the report “2 billion euros from PNRR, washed away on Saturday. The Ministry of the Environment, among the biggest losers”
- Second place– Florin Gheorghe Iliescu Social Page with the article “The journal of a summer school, at the Faculty of Environmental Science and Engineering, within UBB Cluj-Napoca”
- Third place– Pavel Sinka Pecica News with the article “Hundreds of locations where garbage can be legally “thrown”
- Mention– Crivineanu Alin Iulian The editor with the article “Waste is not the end, but the beginning of a green future”
In addition to the time of awarding the awards, the gala provided a framework for dialogue and networking, facilitating the exchange of ideas and collaborations between actors involved in environmental protection and the circular economy.
Successful partnerships recognized in 2025:ECOTIC also awarded a number of companies and organizations for their active involvement in promoting environmental protection, as well as in the collection and recycling of electrical waste: Altex Romania, Carrefour Romania, GreenWEEE International, Total Waste Recycling, REMATHOLDING Co and Ateliere Fără Frontiere.

“The awarded projects prove the concern of communities from all regions of the country for the protection of the environment and the efficient use of resources in the context of Romania's transition to the circular economy, offering concrete solutions to ensure a sustainable future”, said Valentin Negoiță, President of ECOTIC.
