Organizers of illegal migration in the Boguchansky district of the region were sent to a colony

In the Boguchansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court found 37-year-old and 42-year-old foremen of a timber processing company guilty of organizing illegal migration.

Let us remind you that in April of this year, police checked foreigners living and working on the territory of a wood processing enterprise and identified five illegal migrants.

“It was established that the composition of the team for sawing wood and storing it was selected by authorized foreman of the company. They were supposed to control the legality of residence and work activities of foreign citizens. In order to avoid downtime at work and unnecessary costs for issuing permits for migrants, the foremen, in their personal interests, organized living and working places for illegal immigrants, thus facilitating the illegal stay of foreigners on Russian territory,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A criminal case was initiated and investigated against the foremen under Part 2 of Art. 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Organization of illegal migration.” The court sentenced them to 6 years in a general regime colony. The verdict came into force.
