
The author of the Ukrainian culinary Instagram blog Victoria Kozina told how to prepare dumplings stuffed with salted cottage cheese.
According to Kozina, the dough for this recipe turns out to be very elastic – it does not soften during the preparation of dumplings and does not crack when they are frozen. The blogger emphasized that this is one of the best recipes.
Products for dough
- 500 g flour;
- 1 egg;
- a pinch of salt;
- 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 250 ml boiling water.
Products for filling
- 700 g cottage cheese;
- 1 egg;
- salt to taste;
- fresh dill – optional.
Preparation
- Add eggs, salt and vegetable oil to the flour.
- Mix everything until crumbly.
- Add boiling water. Knead the dough first with a spatula and then with your hands.
- Prepare the filling. Mix cottage cheese with egg, add salt. add greens.
- Form the dough into dumplings with filling.
- Boil dumplings in salted water. Serve dumplings with cracklings.
