In Krasnoyarsk Green Grove in one of the stores on Ulyanovskaya Avenue Police officers seized 56 liters of strong alcoholic beverages.

The retail outlet came to the attention of law enforcement officers after complaints from local residents that there sell alcohol without a license. In September, during an inspection, this fact was confirmed and a protocol was drawn up under Art. 14.17.1 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Illegal retail sale of alcohol and alcohol-containing products by individuals.” A preventive conversation was held with the store owner, but he continued to break the law.

“In November, the police carried out a test purchase, during which the fact of sale of excise-free intoxicating alcohol was once again confirmed. As a result, a protocol was drawn up under Art. 14.17 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violation of requirements for the production or circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products,” 203 bottles of various sizes and contents were confiscated,” said the Krasnoyarskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the near future, the owner of the outlet will be held administratively liable, and after a court decision, the seized alcohol will be destroyed.
