An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
The incident comes as the death toll from Hong Kong's worst fire in decades rose to 160 on Tuesday.

The fire prompted China's top leaders to call for the removal of safety risks from the real estate sector. Last month, China also announced a wide-ranging inspection of fire safety standards in high-rise buildings across the country following the deadly fire in Hong Kong to prevent any similar disaster on the mainland.
The Shantou fire is the latest in a series of similar deadly incidents across the country in recent years.
In April, 20 people died in a fire that broke out in a building for the elderly in a nursing home in the country's northern Hebei province.
A few weeks later, a fire in a restaurant in northeastern China killed 22 people.
