French President Emmanuel Macron sent a message in Romanian on Tuesday, in a video clip in which he appears alongside the President of Romania, Nicusor Dan. The footage was posted on the official page of the Élysée Palace.
In the images, Nicusor Dan asks Emmanuel Macron to say: “Long live the friendship between Romania and France”.
Macron says: “I will try too”, after which he repeated the message of Nicuşor Dan.
President Nicusor Dan declared, on Tuesday, after the discussion with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, in Paris, during the official visit, that they shared their experience regarding the hybrid war, including the part of disinformation and agreed that they can learn from each other, notes News.ro.
The head of state announced that he invited Macron to Romania in 2026, and he confirmed that he would come.
On Tuesday morning, Nicusor Dan had a meeting with representatives of French economic companies organized by the French Enterprise Movement (Medef).
Also, Nicusor Dan met with the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo and inaugurated the “Nicolae Titulescu” alley in Monceau Park in Paris.
On Monday evening, the head of state had a meeting with the representatives of the Romanian community in the French Republic, at the Romanian Embassy in Paris.
