In the courtyard of a residential building in the Sverdlovsk district of Krasnoyarsk, two cars burned down at once.
It all happened on the night of December 9-10 in the parking lot near house No. 6d on Sverdlovskaya Street. The incident was caught on surveillance cameras; the footage shows clouds of smoke rising above one of the cars. The owner of the car tries to understand the situation and opens the hood, but the car is almost instantly engulfed in flames. The fire spreads to neighboring vehicles.
The regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported that firefighters extinguished the fire in 10 squares. 5 people and 1 piece of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. As a result of the fire, two cars burned down, and the paintwork of another car was damaged.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit.
