Victor Angelescu, the minority shareholder from Rapid, spoke about the case of Antoine Baroan (25 years old), the striker who was excluded from the team by coach Costel Gâlcă.
Costel Gâlcă chose to exclude Baroan from the team for the match with Botoșani, score 0-0, from the last stage. Angelescu also offered about the case and said that he is disappointed with Baroan up to this point. Baroan has only two goals in the 15 matches played for Rapid.
The majority shareholder said that certain players, including Baroan, may leave in the immediate next break.
Victor Angelescu, about Antoine Baroan: “If he doesn't realize where he is and what he has to do, there is a possibility that he will leave”
“Baroan is under indiscipline charges. We'll see what decision Costel Gâlcă will make in the match with Oțelul. It's nothing that serious. It was just some inappropriate behavior. It wasn't about being late to training, an internal matter.
Maybe they come to Romania and expect it to be easy. It wasn't shocking to him when he came in, Costel demands the same things from all players. It seems normal to me that players do this. It was Costel's and the club's decision. The suggestion was Gâlcă's.
Above all is the club. I think if he doesn't realize where he is and what he has to do there is a possibility that he will leave. Players need to understand where they are.

We expected more from Baron. It depends primarily on Costel and how he behaves. At the end we will draw the line and see who remains”, said Victor Angelescu, at Prima Sport.
