Farul Constanța mathematically won the title of champion of the Youth League, following the results recorded in round number 12 of the play-off.
With two stages until the end of the season, the team from the seaside is 6 points above FCSB, the second place holder, and the Constantinians have the advantage of direct matches in the duels with the Bucharest ones. In case of a tie, the Lighthouse has the advantage, so the title was won by the “sailors”.

In today's home match, Farul defeated Cluj University 3-0 and thus maintains its lead of 6 points over the second place, occupied by FCSB, which prevailed at home against FC Bacău, score 3-2, according to frf.ro.
Considering the 6 points lead, as well as the advantage of direct matches with FCSB, obtained through two 1-0 victories in the Youth League play-off, Farul is the champion of Romania.

The Constantinians thus become the first team to win twice the most important competition for juniors in Romania, after they also won the title in the 2023/2024 season. The Youth League trophy is also owned by two other teams: Craiova University, in the inaugural 2022/2023 season, and FCSB, in the 2024/2025 season, according to the aforementioned source.

Following the domestic success, Farul Constanța will represent Romania in the next season of the UEFA Youth League, where it will participate in the champions' route.
In their previous appearance in the competition, Farul started the European route in the second round, from where they eliminated FK IMT Belgrade from Serbia 2-1 on aggregate. In the next round, the Constantinians succumbed to the Croatian champions, Lokomotiva Zagreb, where they lost 1-6 overall.
This European season, FCSB missed out on qualifying for the main stage of the UEFA Youth League after being knocked out by the Hungarians at Puskas Akademia on penalties.
