12 May 15:03

In Krasnoyarsk, the Kirovsky District Court sentenced former State Duma deputy Sergei Natarov to 14 years of general imprisonment with a fine of 4 million rubles.

His son Anton Natarov was also sentenced to 14 years of general regime with a fine of 4 million rubles. For the other defendants, the prosecutor asked for a sentence ranging from suspended imprisonment to 17 years of maximum security. The court's decision will be announced later.

Let us remind you that among the violations of the law charged to Sergei Natarov were “illegal trade markups” and “artificially inflated prices” for supplied goods. The case included data on a premium of 10-35%, although other entrepreneurs, called as witnesses in court, said that they themselves apply a premium of up to 100%. The expert who calculated the amount of damage could not explain what formula he used for this, and the head of the Turukhansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Oleg Sheremetyev, stated that Sergei Natarov had nothing to do with the supply of goods to Igarka.
