The left defender had not been in the team at all in the previous 12 matches of Giulești. Robert Bădescu was chosen as the starter at Botoșani on the left defender position, another option for the U21 rule at Rapid.

Borza returned to the pack earlier than the speedsters expected

The return of Borza to the team so early is a surprise for the management of Rapid. Victor Angelescu, the president of the club, announced on GSP Live that he hopes the defender will be on the sheet with the Steel on Saturday.

However, Gâlcă took Borza into the team a week earlier than expected by the management of the team from Giulești.

“Borza has started training with the team. But, at least in the next two matches, we don't want to take any chances with him. Maybe he will be on the bench for the Oțelul match, I hope…He will be fit after the winter training camp. I repeat, we don't want to take any chances,” Angelescu said on December 2, at GSP Live.
