In 2025, the Krasnoyarsk Heating Network (a division of the Siberian Generating Company in Krasnoyarsk) replenished its fleet with 11 new units of specialized vehicles.
The enterprise is systematically increasing its technical potential, which directly contributes to the development of the heat transport infrastructure of Krasnoyarsk, which is carried out by the SGK enterprise.
The total length of the company's networks in the city is more than 2 thousand km. Since 2020, the Krasnoyarsk Heating Network has been implementing a program to develop and update the heating network. This year, about 50 km of pipelines were built and reconstructed in the city, and over five years the length of the updated pipelines amounted to 300 km. The results of such work are already obvious: Krasnoyarsk survived two winters without serious incidents on heating networks.
In addition to the construction and reconstruction of pipelines, the division is actively updating and developing related infrastructure. So, this year three central heating points were built, another one was repaired, and five pumping stations were also repaired. At the end of this year, the total investment in updating and repairing the city’s network infrastructure will amount to 6.2 billion rubles.
Experts note that the professionalism of industry personnel is paramount here, but technical support also plays an important role in this work. All equipment in the arsenal of heating networks is adapted to difficult climatic conditions, has increased maneuverability and reliability.
The new arrival of equipment is focused on a wide range of tasks: carrying out excavation and loading activities, prompt delivery of materials and repair teams to work sites.
A special place in the fleet of heating networks is occupied by 11 mobile emergency repair workshops of MAVR.
“These are true professionals on wheels, and they are indispensable for rapid response. Each workshop is an autonomous complex capable of carrying out pipeline repairs anywhere in the city. Their equipment includes generators, welding transformers, ladders, and powerful spotlights for working at night. These machines also have everything necessary for the comfort of personnel, which allows specialists to carry out activities on site as efficiently as possible. Every day, 25 teams are involved in maintaining networks, two of which are on duty around the clock,” the SGC said.
By the end of the year, the Krasnoyarsk Heating Network fleet will receive another addition. A wheeled tractor and a Moskvich electric passenger car will take up space in the garage. By the way, the unit already has a similar one. It is electric, which meets modern environmental requirements and the Company’s vector aimed at reducing the burden on the environment.
“The development and modernization of the enterprise’s vehicle fleet, as well as the heating network system as a whole, is a strategic investment that ensures the reliability of the city’s heat supply system. Modern machines allow us not only to quickly eliminate incidents, but also to carry out scheduled work on heating networks as efficiently as possible, maintaining the comfort of residents,” said Sergei Ivanov, director of the Krasnoyarsk Heating Network.
Rolling stock for heating network divisions is regularly replenished in other cities of the region where SGC enterprises operate. For example, this year MAVRs were purchased to work on heating networks in Nazarovo. A similar mobile workshop, as well as an excavator, were put into use by specialists from the heating network division in Minusinsk. And for the fleet of heating networks in Kansk, they purchased a heavy-duty tractor, which delivers reinforced concrete and pipes 11 meters long to the repair site.
