At midnight, when 98% of the votes had been counted, PSD candidate Daniel Băluță posted a message saying that he will continue to work for District 4.
With 15% behind Ciprian Ciucu and over 1% behind Anca Alexandrescu, Băluță wrote on Facebook: “Thank you to everyone who supported me in the last weeks and gave me your trust! We stay together and continue to work for Sector 4 and for the whole of Bucharest.”
The only sector in which Ciucu does not lead according to the official count is Sector 4, the sector where Băluță is in his third mandate. Even here, however, the incumbent mayor leads in S4 by only a few hundred votes in front of Ciucu.

- Tassel 36.00%
