At a press conference in Krasnoyarsk, VTB Bank announced data on the number of clients in Yenisei Siberia.
The number of active retail clients of VTB in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khakassia and Tyva exceeded 600 thousand people. The growth for the year was 155 thousand. Today, almost every third representative of the economically active population in the three regions is a client of the bank, while a year ago – every fourth.
Along with the growth of the client base, the bank notes that the savings behavior model of the population is preserved. According to VTB regional manager Alexander Vanyushkin, in 2025 residents actively placed funds in savings accounts and deposits. The number of deposits is growing – more than 18 thousand deposits were opened in October – the highest figure for the year.
He noted that until the end of the year, growth in the savings market will continue: December is traditionally considered a “high” season, banks are implementing a number of promotional offers to attract depositors.
The portfolio of attracted funds from the population and business of VTB in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republics of Khakassia and Tyva for 9 months of 2025 grew by 5% and exceeded 192 billion rubles. At the same time, the volume of funds in individuals’ accounts during this period reached 147 billion rubles.
