The high-paying job search service SuperJob conducted a survey and found out what Krasnoyarsk residents plan to do during the New Year holidays.

The survey results showed that 37% of Krasnoyarsk residents plan to spend most of the New Year holidays at home. Judging by the comments, the most popular pastime options are communicating with loved ones, playing with children, watching TV series, reading, winter sports, walking, repairs; many would like to do nothing and get a good night's sleep. 20% of respondents will actually have no vacation, they will work according to schedule. 6% plan trips within Russia, 3% abroad. 7% plan to spend the holidays at their dacha, 11% go away.

At the same time, men are significantly more likely than women to report that they will work during the holidays (24 and 16%, respectively). Women are more likely to plan to stay at home (43% vs. 31% of men). Young people under 35 are more likely than those older to work or visit. City dwellers 45+ more often demonstrate a love for country holidays.

Respondents with secondary vocational education will work on holidays much more often than those with higher education (30 and 11%, respectively).

Those surveyed earning up to 80 thousand rubles a month more often plan to spend time at home (43%) and away (14%). Among those whose income exceeds 150 thousand rubles, more go to their dachas (9%) and travel around the country (8%).
