The main “executioner” of Dino Toppmoller's band this evening was the 19-year-old young Ivorian from Leipzig's attack, Yan Diomande, who scored a “hattrick” in Zetterer's goal (45', 55', 65').

The other three goals were scored by Conrad Harder (5'), Christoph Baumgartner (31') and David Raum (penalty – 62'). What's more, Baumgartner, the Austrian midfielder who also played against Romania, was extremely close to achieving the “double”, but his success in the 39th minute was canceled for offside.

Following this result, the line-up at the Red Bull Arena remained in second position in Germany, still eight lengths behind champions and leaders Bayern Munich. On the other hand, those from Frankfurt currently occupy the 7th place in the ranking, with 21 points.

In the next round of the Bundesliga, RB Leipzig will play on the field of Union Berlin, while Eintracht will receive the visit of Augsburg.

Until then, however, the “eagles” will face Barcelona, ​​at Camp Nou, in the Champions League. The game will take place on Tuesday, December 9, from 22:00.
