Bucharest elections. Tudor Chirilă: “I haven't decided who I'm voting with, I'm still thinking, but look what I did and I advise you to do”

Actor Tudor Chirilă says he has not yet made a final decision about the candidate he will vote for on Sunday, but he used Artificial Intelligence to analyze the candidates' programs to get answers to help him make up his mind. Chirilă believes that the procedure can also help other Bucharest residents who are still undecided about their vote for the Capital City Hall.
“If we had elections in two rounds, I would have considered voting with Ana Ciceală. I am part of the generation that always voted for the lesser evil. Attention, I am not saying that Ciceală is an “evil”. On the contrary. But we always voted against because we were choosing between “bad”. So I understand very well the young people who do not think about the greatest evil and the useful vote. Between the ages of 18 and 25 you have to be an idealist”, Tudor Chirilă begins his post on Facebook.
“Whoever stays at home is probably happy with any result”
On the other hand, single-round elections make the actor invoke the useful vote in defining his final option, and to establish this option he resorted to Artificial Intelligence.
“I haven't decided who I'm voting with, I'm still thinking about it, but here's what I did and what I advise you to do, it doesn't take long: I took the programs of the first five candidates, entered them into Chat Gpt and Gemini, I made my voter profile – what matters to me in this city, I divided into percentages of importance administrative experience versus integrity and other values, I entered the demographic segmentation from the 2020 election, that is, who came out to the vote, I got some answers. Then I formulated some more variables and I think that every person who thinks in other than purely emotional terms must do this, because there are quite a few undecideds like me,” wrote Tudor.
Although he has not made the final decision, the actor asks the citizens of Bucharest to vote, even if the elections in a single round mean that “an ideal vote” cannot be exercised by all voters.
“Vote. Bucharest will have the mayor that its residents want the most. Those who stay at home are probably satisfied with any result. In the end, we are talking about the fact that whoever becomes mayor does not really express the preferences of the people of Bucharest. Because the moral or ideal vote can only be given in a two-round election. And, paradoxically, this is the reason why we should go out to vote. And maybe after the elections, we won't let let this aberration with a single tour catch us in 2028 as well”, believes Chirilă.
For now, the actor eliminated two of the possible options: Daniel Băluță, because he will never vote for PSD, and Anca Alexandrescu, whom he considers a representative of the “old-fashioned” PSD.
“I am absolutely sure of one thing: culture will be in the last place for any of the candidates for the mayor's office. As for the theaters, I am skeptical that we will have a competition in the performance institutions sooner than a year from now. I better be wrong”, concluded Tudor Chirilă.
AtlasIntel poll: Very close race between the top three candidates
EXCLUSIVE. Bucharest elections. The latest AtlasIntel poll shows an unexpected reversal of positions in the competition that remains “to the millimeter” between the candidates / Everything is possible Sunday, December 7, at the polls
On Friday, HotNews received the third and final survey AtlasIntel has conducted in this campaign. Conducted between December 1-5, the poll shows Anca Alexandrescu in first place, with 0.1% in front of Daniel Băluță, which practically means equality. And Ciprian Ciucu follows them at less than 4%, keeping the race extremely close.
The third AtlasIntel poll indicates, for the first time, Anca Alexandrescu in first place. With 24%, the candidate supported by AUR is only 0.1% ahead of Daniel Băluță, who has 23.9%.
Basically, the positions of the two have reversed compared to the second AtlasIntel survey, from December 1, when Băluță was leading by 0.1%, the same tiny distance.
In third place comes Ciprian Ciucu, the PNL representative, with 20.2%, less than 4% of the two. That means, according to the poll's margin of error, the gap between the top three is “too close to declare a favorite,” to use a phrase from the US election. Ciucu is slightly decreasing, from 21.7% to 20.2%.
USR candidate Cătălin Drula is in 4th place, with 15.3%. Drula remained constant, with the previous survey showing it at 15.5%. On the 5th comes Anca Ciceală, the representative of the left-wing progressive party SENS, which increased to 10%, from 8.4% in the previous poll.
EXCLUSIVE. Now the latest AtlasIntel survey. Which categories pushed Anca Alexandrescu to the 1st place in the calculations, almost equal to Băluță. How are Cătălin Drula and Ciprian Ciucu doing?
