“As the police established, a man driving an Audi car drove into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a bus in which 27 people were traveling. As a result of the incident, the driver of the car died on the spot,” the report says.
The road where the accident occurred was temporarily blocked. However, even after its opening, law enforcement officers continued to report traffic difficulties until the bus was removed from the scene.
Polish media Radio Lublin wrote that the bus involved in the accident was moving from Rawa-Ruska (Lviv region, Ukraine) to Warsaw. As a result of a collision with a car, he drove off the road. There were 27 Ukrainian citizens on board the bus. None of them were hurt.
The deceased driver of the car, according to media reports, was 27 years old.
