Temperatures will be higher than those specific to the period in the calendar, until the end of the year and in the first days of January, in all regions of the country, according to the forecast issued on Friday by the NMA, for the interval December 8, 2025 – January 5, 2026.

According to ANM estimates, in the week of December 8-15, temperatures will be higher than those specific for this week throughout the country, but especially in the western, northern and central regions.

“The rainfall regime will be deficient at the level of the entire country”, according to ANM. In other words, there will be little rain or precipitation.

For the week of December 15-22, average temperatures will be higher than normal for this range in all regions.

Likewise, during the week of Christmas, December 22-29, the average air temperature will have higher than normal values ​​for this week in all regions.

The rainfall regime will have a deficient trend in most of the country.

The last days of December and the first of January, December 29 – January 5, will bring average temperatures above those specific for this interval, throughout Romania.

Precipitation amounts will generally be close to normal for this period in most regions, with a slightly deficient trend in the northwest of the country.
