A liberal leader accuses the PSD of having cheated with AUR in Sunday's elections. “It's the bill after they gave votes to Simion in the presidential election”

Deputy Alexandru Muraru, the leader of PNL Iași, accused a “PSD-AUR counter in Vânători”, claiming that Bogdan Cojocaru from PSD Iași and Ciprian Paraschiv from AUR Iași “fraternized for the victory of the social democratic candidate from the commune”.
The elections in Vânători were won by the PSD candidate, Bogdan-Constantin Lupu, with 1,219 votes, representing a score of 57.12%. Behind him were Vasile Asoltanei from PNL, with 860 votes (40.3%), Dumitru Gheorghică from POT, with 47 votes (2.2%), and Maria Neder from AUR, with 8 votes (0.37%).
In a post on Facebook from Tuesday evening, the leader of PNL Iași claims that “PSD would have had no chance of winning in Vânători if AUR had mobilized at least half of the electorate that had supported it in the previous polls”.
“On the one hand, we are talking about an act of treason by Paraschiv, currently suspected even by the central leadership of the AUR, as well as a proof of manipulation on the part of the PSD Iași and a lie delivered by Bogdan Cojocaru to the central leadership of the PSD, trying to wash away the successive failures recorded in last year's elections”, added Alexandru Muraru.
“It is the bill of payment returned by AUR to PSD”
The leader of the PNL Iași claims that AUR “put a proper candidate in Vânători, who did not show any sign of combativeness and who expresses himself with difficulty, leaving a clear path to the mayor's office for the PSD candidate”.
“Practically, what happened in Vânători is the payment bill returned by AUR to PSD, after the social democrats donated votes to Simion in the presidential elections”, he said.
Alexandru Muraru accused the PSD Iași leader of “incompetence”.
“After losing the elections on all fronts, the position of prefect, any position at the national level in the leadership of the PSD, he was evicted by the party from the Parliamentary Commission for SRI control, now he has reached the hands of AUR hooliganism,” the liberal claims.
