Rectors of all Siberian universities discussed the transition to a new education system

Rectors of all universities in the Siberian Federal District gathered in Tomsk to discuss the transition to a new model of higher education. According to RIA Tomsk, on December 5, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov will speak to the participants of the meeting.

The meeting is taking place at Tomsk State University (TSU), which has been participating in the federal pilot project for the third year. In 2025, 46 new educational programs were launched here, and from September 2027, the updated system will begin to work in all Russian universities.
TSU presented their colleagues with a package of their methodological solutions. Experts explained how the university is restructuring development processes and working with industrial partners in the field of artificial intelligence, fintech, new materials and chemistry.
