The T1 IT holding held the first T1 Award ceremony – an award for partners who have implemented the most large-scale, daring and innovative solutions that have become an important contribution to strengthening Russia's technological independence.
The jury of the T1 Prize included representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, Russian Railways, Rosatom, the Moscow Aviation Institute, the Polytechnic Museum, as well as the business publication RBC.
The winners of the award were the largest banks and industry leaders: Alfa-Bank, Aeroflot, VTB, VimpelCom, Demetra-Holding, Russian Post, Rosgosstrakh, RusHydro, Severstal-Infocom. The companies were recognized for projects that have become landmarks for the Russian IT market – from the implementation of large-scale digital platforms and cloud services to the development of solutions in the field of fintech, cybersecurity and automation of critical infrastructure.
VTB Bank received a special award in the “Project of Industry Significance” nomination, and RusHydro won the “IT: From Heart to Business” nomination, where the winner was determined by the audience.
“Our award finalists are companies that set truly challenging goals. Each of our dozens of joint projects with the T1 Prize winners is a brick in the foundation of Russia’s common technological future, and in some cases, an entire supporting structure, without which it is impossible to move forward. We highly value partners who are ready to take responsibility for the development of technologies on a national scale. Such projects change the daily lives of Russians for the better every day,” said Dmitry Kharitonov, CEO of the T1 IT holding.
