The meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the US delegation in Brussels has been canceled; Zelensky is returning to Ukraine, and the reasons for the decision regarding the meeting have not been disclosed, the Ukrainian website Kyiv Post reported, citing sources in Washington.


As Kyiv Post correspondent Alex Raufoglu reported on the X platform, Zelensky's meeting with US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law, was canceled – wrote Kyiv Post. The two Americans talked on Tuesday about ending the war against Ukraine with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Reuters reported that Ukraine's chief negotiator Rustem Umerov is scheduled to hold talks with European representatives in Brussels on Wednesday and may then travel to the United States for meetings. According to the agency's source, Zelensky is returning to Kiev after a European trip during which he visited Paris and Dublin. (PAP)
