Witkoff and Kushner brief Trump on 'productive' meeting with Putin – Reuters

The US administration official added that Vitkoff and Kushner also informed the Ukrainian side about the results of the negotiations in the Kremlin.

A White House spokesman called the American meeting with illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin “thorough” and “productive.”

Putin, Vitkoff and Kushner at negotiations in Moscow on December 2 for about five hours discussed several projects of the “peace plan” for resolving the war of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, assistant to the illegitimate Russian president Yuri Ushakov reported after the meeting. According to him, “no compromise was found” on the territorial issue. One of the key issues at the negotiations was Ukraine’s membership in NATO, Ushakov pointed out.

Context

The meeting of the US and Russian delegations in Moscow took place after negotiations between the Ukrainian and American sides on the “peace plan” on November 23 in Geneva and November 30 in Miami.

CNN, after the meeting in Geneva, named three key points of the “peace plan” on which there was no agreement between Ukraine and the United States.

On December 2, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that there were 20 points in the “peace plan,” but “some things still need to be worked out.” The three most important and sensitive issues are territories, frozen assets of the Russian Federation and security guarantees for Ukraine, the president indicated.

After negotiations in Moscow, Vitkoff will meet with Zelensky canceled, the media noted. Ukrainian delegation invited to the USA for further negotiations on the “peace plan,” said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Andrei Sibiga on December 3.
