Total chaos in the stands in Hungary

The Romanian national team plays tonight in the first match from the main group at the Women's Handball World Championship against the Hungarian national team, an extremely important match in order to qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition. The start of the match was very heated, with the two very vocal galleries.

The rivalry between Romania and Hungary is well known, and this was felt from the start of the match in Rotterdam. About 800 supporters gathered in the stands, and the galleries of the two national teams were placed next to each other, resulting in an uproar that is hard to describe in words.

Although the Romanians were much more numerous in Rotterdam Ahoy, the Hungarians were also extremely noisy, coming prepared with drums and making their presence felt right from the start.

The two galleries were positioned next to each other, a few meters apart: the Hungarians on the lawn, the “tricolors” in the tribune, right next to them.

Hot atmosphere before Romania – Hungary

Before the game, the opposing fans turned to ours and chanted “Ria, Ria, Hungary!”. During the singing of the hymns, there was a holy silence, respect and perfect fair play on the part of both camps.

At the center of the field, the players of the two teams were seen extremely excited and at the same time focused before the game.

Chaos followed immediately after the anthems, caused by the fact that both galleries were positioned extremely close, their chants could no longer be understood.
