Dani Coman, the president of the FC Argeș club, claims that the objective of the group from Pitesti is to rank in a place that allows participation in the next season of European competitions.
Newly promoted FC Argeș has impressed this season and is in 5th place in the SuperLiga, with 30 points after 18 stages. In the previous round, they won 3-0 against CFR Cluj, and in the Romanian Cup they won 2-1 against Rapid.
“If God helps us to enter the play-offs, remember, FC Argeș will fight for the European cups. Tomorrow (no Thursday) we have a meeting to discuss the license for the European cups. From my point of view, it is clear that we will have it. We must make efforts to have the license.
We will see where we will play in the European cups, in which stadium. The important thing is to reach the play-offs. It will be more difficult for Argeș to enter the play-offs than to play in the European cups. At the moment, no. We are not considering playing in Târgoviște. You have seen what the lawn looks like at Mioveni. Efforts were made for us to have the best conditions at Mioveni.
I remain of the opinion that any team that remains in the play-out will fight to avoid relegation, regardless of its name”, said Dani Coman, according to digisport.ro.
For the team coached by Bogdan Andone, the next match is against Csikszereda, at Miercurea Ciuc, scheduled for December 6, from 17:00.
