In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 11th grade graduates wrote an essay for admission to the state final certification (USE).
The regional Ministry of Education reported that a total of 15,366 people registered to participate. Venues were set up at schools throughout the region. Participants with disabilities could write a summary summary instead of a final essay. This year, 207 people took advantage of this right. For them, the time for writing the work was increased by 1.5 hours.
The start of the essay was given at 10:00. In 3 hours 55 minutes it was necessary to write a text of at least 250 words. If the essay contains less than 250 words, the graduate receives a “failure.” However, there is no limit on the maximum amount of text.
15 minutes before the start of writing, the topics were announced to the guys. The Krasnoyarsk region received six topics, among which: “The bright and tragic sides of love”, “Why, in your opinion, do people sometimes, wanting good, commit evil?”, “What in people’s lives remains unchanged even in an era of change?”, “How do you feel about the fact that in fiction on a historical topic there are deviations from the facts?”, “How do you understand the statement of M.M. Prishvina: “Nature is the environment in which, like flowers, all our human talents have grown?”, “What did I like about the film (book, music, performance)?”
“In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as a rule, more than 99% of graduates cope with the final essay or presentation. The main evaluation criteria remain unchanged – consistent volume of words, absence of plagiarism, relevance to the topic, literacy and argumentation of one’s position based on literary material,” noted the region’s Minister of Education Tatyana Gridasova.
When writing the final essay, it was allowed to use spelling dictionaries issued by the organizers. To argue their position, participants could give examples from literary works, history, journalism, and personal experience.
For those graduates who receive a “failure” or missed December 3 for a good reason, reserve days are provided – February 4 and April 8, 2026. Graduates must be informed of the results obtained at the school no later than December 16, 2025.
