The first happened on Gruntovaya Street – a 79-year-old Niva driver collided with a 40-year-old Kawasaki motorcycle driver.

The second happened on Spandaryan Street – a 52-year-old motorist driving a Honda crashed into a Yamaha motorcycle driven by a 34-year-old driver.

As a result, both bikers received numerous injuries and were taken to the hospital.

State traffic inspectors asked all road users to be as attentive and careful as possible:

“With the advent of warmer weather, motorcyclists appear more and more often on the city’s roads, and their safety largely depends on mutual respect and adherence to the rules. In order to avoid an accident with a motorcycle when changing lanes, motorists are advised to assess the situation behind them using their mirrors, and also perform maneuvers smoothly, always accompanying their actions by turning on the turn indicators. Remember that motorcycle drivers have less protection in the event of an accident. Compliance with traffic rules and simple precautions will help avoid tragedies, preserving the life and health of all road users.”
