Gdańsk Airport will gain five new routes. Ryanair focuses on development


Jason McGuinness from Ryanair announced the plans during a press conference in Gdańsk. The carrier intends to increase the number of destinations served from Gdańsk airport to 43, introducing new routes to Palermo, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, Rome and Tirana. McGuinness added that the number of flights on 17 of the most popular routes, such as Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga and Malta, will also be increased.

New connections from the Gdańsk airport. Ryanair announces
Thanks to the additional machine at Ryanair's Gdańsk base, the number of available seats will increase by 300,000, which means a 16% increase compared to the current offer. Tomasz Kloskowski, president of the Gdańsk Airport, emphasized that the carrier's decision is the result of many years of cooperation and proof of the growing importance of the Gdańsk airport in Poland and the region. As he noted, the investment will allow passengers from Pomerania to have an even greater choice of destinations, and the airport itself will strengthen its position as a dynamically developing communication hub.

Gdańsk airport. Millions of passengers this year
Gdańsk Airport, located in the Matarnia district, is the third largest airport in Poland, after Warsaw Chopin and Krakow's Balice. In the first nine months of this year, it served almost 5.7 million passengers.
