Airbus has advised that a limited number of A320 aircraft are affected. He also noted that inspections of machine parts do not mean that the problems concern all of them.

Reuters reported that the total number of aircraft requiring investigation is 628, of which 168 are in service. According to Reuters, some rear panels have also been found to have a similar problem, but no machines currently in service are affected.

Last week, Airbus announced that it had ordered software changes in more than half of the global fleet of A320 aircraft, i.e. approximately 6,000. planes. The reason was an incident that revealed the negative impact of solar radiation on data that is crucial to the flight control system. As of Monday, fewer than 100 A320 planes remain out of action due to a software problem.
