In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police stopped a car driven by a driver with a fake license, and a criminal case was opened against him, the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

In Uzhur, a traffic police crew patrolled the streets and stopped a VAZ driven by a local resident. When checking documents, state traffic inspectors doubted the authenticity of the driver's license.

After checking the document against the database, it turned out that the license with the specified number was issued to another person living outside the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The police seized the dubious ID and sent it for examination. The investigation showed that the seized document was false. An administrative fine of 5,000 rubles was imposed on the driver for driving without the appropriate permit.

During the check, police officers determined that the 39-year-old man, who had no previous convictions, did not have a driver’s license. In 2019 through Internet a resident of Uzhur ordered a fake document from an unknown person for 7 thousand rubles.

The investigator of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Uzhursky district opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The sanction of the article implies a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to one year.
