In Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, police detained a man with an impressive supply of drugs for sale.

At the 662nd kilometer of the R-255 Siberia highway, traffic police inspectors stopped a Lexus car driven by a 37-year-old local resident. During the search in the car, police found and seized a polymer bag with a light-colored powdery substance, 12 plaster rolls and 4 red duct tape rolls containing substances.

“The examination confirmed that the pawnbroker had about 213 varieties of synthetic drugs and more than 12 varieties of hashish,” reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The man admitted that he had picked up a wholesale stash in a neighboring city for contactless distribution in the Achinsk District. But that was not all: in his garage box, the police found another 425 packages, already prepared for sale.

A criminal case was opened against a previously convicted Achin resident under Part 3 of Art. 30, paragraph “d”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale.” The man was detained in accordance with Art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
