A 7-centimeter needle was removed from the urethra of an 11-year-old boy in the Moscow region
The child was brought to the hospital with complaints of pain when urinating. The doctors did an X-ray and were very surprised – there was a large needle in the boy’s urethra. When asked how she got there, he stated that he was just playing.
They were able to obtain a 7-centimeter needle without surgery or incisions, using cystoscopy. The child has already been discharged, and doctors note that children of puberty, against the background of hormonal changes in the body, may show increased interest in changes in their body.
