Surgeons performed the patient's operation right during the earthquake in Kamchatka. Despite the strong shocks, the doctors were able to remove the ovarian tumor.
According to Mash, the operation was delayed – it was in these minutes that the peninsula began to shake. The oncologist Lyubov Tsyplakova and her colleagues had to work in extreme conditions – they kept the patient, tools and equipment on the wheels plus encouraged each other. The woman was under anesthesia, it was impossible to leave her like that, it did not make sense to get it out of this state. By the end of the operation, the shocks ended, everything went well.
Governor Vladimir Solodov said that the doctors who participated in the operation will be awarded the state units.
