The government has approved the requirements for miners:
— They will have to provide the tax authorities with data on the volume of cryptocurrency received and where it was credited. The register will be maintained by the Federal Tax Service;
— Without registration of an individual entrepreneur, it will be possible to mine up to 6 thousand kWh per month;
— Authorities will be able to limit mining in certain territories in case of risk of electricity shortage;
— The register of miners and mining infrastructure operators will be maintained according to the rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
