The State Duma rejected the amendments of the New People party to the childfree bill without discussion
The amendments protected from fines those who cannot have children for medical reasons or due to difficult financial circumstances. This was reported by New People deputy Ksenia Goryacheva.
Earlier, another deputy from the “New People”, Sardana Avksentyeva, stated that the law against childfree propaganda could turn into an epidemic of denunciations against childless families and called on officials not to invade people’s personal space.
