People's boos and whistles were heard even during the singing of the national anthem, at the National Day military parade in Alba Iulia.
Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan arrived a little before 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, at the military parade in Alba Iulia.
Just as the prime minister got out of the car, people started whistling, booing and shouting “resignation, resignation”. When the Guard presented him with the honour, the Prime Minister was whistled even louder.
The chants of the crowd were drowned out by the marching band, but even as the national anthem was sung there were whistles and boos.
The National Day military parade in Alba Iulia takes place on the 1 Decembrie 1918 Boulevard in the municipality and over 1000 soldiers participate.
It is not the first time that Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is booed at public events. The Prime Minister was also booed in October, on Army Day, during his speech in Carei. Bolojan was also booed in August, in Constanța, on the Day of the Romanian Navy.
