A surprising survey. AfD by the strongest political force in Germany

There is huge euphoria in the ranks of the AfD. “We caught up with CDU/CSU. Thank you to everyone!” – wrote Alice Weidel, co -chairman of the alternative to Germany, on X.
In the next post, widespread by the Parliamentary AfD, she went even further. “AfD is now on a par with CDU/CSU in polls! People do not want another leftist government in which CDU/CSU will allow SPD and green dictate policy. It's time for a real civil political phrase!” She wrote. “There is no way to bypass AFD!” She concluded.
Other AFD members also do not hide satisfaction. Bernd Baumann, chairman of the party's parliamentary club, is also convinced that this is just the beginning.
– We'll become much stronger – and the CDU is weaker. Voters will be aware that the urgently needed change in politics is only possible with us – he says in an interview with the daily “Bild”.
“No wonder”
Beatrix von Storch, the vice -chairman of the AFD parliamentary group, also referred to the survey, calling for a change in the political course. “When the CDU understands this? Returns. The dam must disappear,” she wrote.
Markus Frohnmaier, the vice -chairman of the AfD parliamentary group and the trusk Weidel, is a similar opinion. – Friedrich Merz brazenly deceived public opinion regarding the debt brake and migration policy – now he covers the fraud with a ricochet – says the editorial office of “Bild”.
He believes that AFD is on the road to become a new, only group number one in Germany. – This is not a shutter, it is the beginning of a turning point. In the next few weeks we will leave CDU/CSU behind us – he adds.
Leif-Erik Holm, spokesman for economic policy and AFD leader in Meck-Pomm, also does not hide his satisfaction. “It is not surprising that the AFD caught CDU/CSU for the first time,” he says.
He claims that Friedrich Merz is responsible for this. – His total capitulation before SPD shows public opinion that Merz does not care about the necessary reforms, but only about the office of the Chancellor. And this, of course, makes us happy – he adds.
