FCSB heats up the fight for the play-offs. The champion sees the light at the end of the tunnel

FCSB took revenge for the defeat in the round and defeated Farul Constanţa, exactly with the same score, 2-1, as it had lost at home. After 18 stages, the red-blues climbed to 9th position in the Superliga standings, just two lengths behind last night's opponent, who occupy the last play-off spot. It promises to be a fierce battle for a top 6 position at the end of the regular season, with only 3 points separating 6th and 10th.

David Miculescu (24) increased the guests' advantage, after a ball dropped by goalkeeper Alexandru Buzbuchi. Farul scored before the break through Ionuţ Larie (37 – penalty), after a foul committed by goalkeeper Ştefan Târnovanu on Răzvan Tănasă.

Each team had one bar, FCSB through Darius Olaru (19), and Farul through Alexandru Işfan (68), but the final score was recorded at halftime. The red-blues tick off the fifth match in a row without defeat, in which they recorded three wins and two draws. It was the second home defeat for Farul this season.
