In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 27-year-old woman was planning to start a fire at a gas station, the regional prosecutor's office reported.
In August, scammers stole 1.5 million rubles from a resident of Norilsk. And at the end of November, she received a call from a man who introduced himself as an “FSB employee.” According to the woman, the interlocutor told her that a special operation was underway to capture the thieves of the same money, and her help was needed.
“He asked her for help: to arrive at the Arctur LLC gas station and, on command, set the pump on fire in order to gain time to detain the scammers in their car. Hoping to get the money back, the girl agreed and bought a flammable liquid on the appointed day,” the prosecutor’s office said.

The woman spilled fuel at the pump and brought a lighter to him. But station employees noticed the threat in time and extinguished the fire. The girl managed to escape, but was quickly found.
The accused admits guilt: “I am very ashamed that I was so naive and gullible, I really want those who misled me to be identified and held accountable.”
The prosecutor confirmed the charge of attempted destruction of property (part 3 of article 30, part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The criminal case will be considered by the Norilsk City Court. The criminal case against the “false FSB officers” operating in the group is being investigated separately.
