The Government Center for Security announced on Sunday on the X website that Prime Minister Donald Tusk has signed orders that extend the validity of three alert levels until February 28, 2026.

The BRAVO threat level 2 and BRAVO-CRP threat level 2 have been extendedwhich are valid throughout the country and BRAVO threat level 2 towards Polish energy infrastructure located outside the borders of the Republic of Poland.

Alert levels are primarily a signal for public services and administration to be particularly vigilant. The system has four levels – ALFA, BRAVO, CHARLIE and DELTA (the highest) – and the same for cyberspace – ALFA-CRP, BRAVO-CRP, CHARLIE-CRP and DELTA-CRP.

They are introduced, amended and revoked, by way of an order, by the Prime Minister, after seeking the opinion of the minister responsible for internal affairs and the head of the Internal Security Agency, and in urgent cases – by the minister responsible for internal affairs, after seeking the opinion of the head of the Internal Security Agency, and immediately informing the Prime Minister thereof.

The BRAVO alert level is introduced in the event of an increased and foreseeable threat of a terrorist event. This means that the services have information about a potential threat, and therefore the public administration is obliged to be particularly vigilant.

BRAVO-CRP assumes that public administration is obliged to conduct intensified monitoring of the security of ICT systems and the availability of system security personnel is increased. (PAP)
