Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to unusual trips with tinsel and garlands

The Krasnoyarsk Travel Center has published a schedule of free tourist routes for December.
Every Wednesday of the month at 19:30 there will be evening mini-hikes “Ascension Wednesday” with a length of 3 km. The routes alternate:
- On December 3 and 17 there will be an ascent to the Second Hill of the Gremyachaya Griva ecopark;
- December 10 – to the observation deck on Karaulnaya Mountain, where the Buddha statue is installed;
- On December 24 there will be a New Year's excursion.
Participants are invited to put on holiday hats, take garlands and other New Year paraphernalia. The group will climb the stairs in Udachny, walk through the snowy New Year's forest and go to the Serebryanikovsky pond of Gremyachaya Griva. There will be a small picnic and a New Year's photo shoot.
On December 5, Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to a quest tour of the city center “Return ticket: one day in Krasnoyarsk of the 19th century.” The theme is life and entertainment of the past. What did you eat and drink then? Where did they party? Who did you work with? What dangers could await on the city streets?
On December 7 at 10:00 a.m. the seven-hour Golden Horseshoe hike will begin. The golden route for those who want to see all the iconic rocks of the Krasnoyarsk pillars. First pillar, Second, Third, Fourth, Feathers, Grandfather and Grandmother with Granddaughter. After this, the group will return to the First Pillar. On the same day, citizens are invited to an excursion to the Victory Memorial Museum. Starts at 11:40 and 12:40.
On December 12, an excursion “Afternoon on the Ridge” was prepared for hikers. Participants will overcome 1,683 steps of the Torgashinskaya staircase (the longest in the country) and reach the Red Ridge rock, from where a panoramic view of the city and Stolby will open.
On December 14, citizens are invited to a twelve-kilometer hike to the Karaulnaya Cave. Anyone can go inside; it costs 700 rubles. If you don't want to go, you can return to the city.
A hike “From Takmak along the Blue Hill” is planned for December 16: Eastern Pillars, Takmak massif, marked trail called “Blue Hill”.
On December 21 there will be a hike to Serebryany Log. You can have a pet there. Participants will take a walk through the Gremyachaya Griva eco-park: climb the Second Hill and Serebryanikovskaya Viewpoint and visit the Serebryany Log visitor center. At the halt, they will drink tea from a thermos, feed the squirrels and take beautiful winter shots.
On December 22, the organizers have prepared a trip to the most magical places in the city. Festive attire and gift exchanges are encouraged. And on December twenty-seventh there will be a New Year's party in Russian style. There is no information about it yet, it will appear later.
On December 28, you can go on a ten-kilometer hike “Maly Berkut”: from the Eastern entrance through Beaver Log to the Maly Berkut and Orlik rocks. And then – to the Kashtakovsky trail and back to the Eastern entrance.
Participation in all activities is free, but mandatory registration is required. Registration opens at 19:00 three days before the event. You need to prepare in advance – dress in comfortable clothes and shoes, and also take a flashlight for evening walks. All details are in the Travelers Center group on VKontakte.
