The abuse of the girl allegedly took place between October 2022 and January 2023. The man contacted the 12-year-old girl via social media. The 30-year-old forced the minor to send him nude photos and then demanded more of them, threatening to “publish them on the Internet if she did not cooperate.”
The girl was identified based on the analysis of data from confiscated phones. One of them showed a photo of the 12-year-old's passport. The analysis also showed that the accused used many accounts in the Snapchat application and was also an active user of pedophile groups on Telegram. The man also took over the girl's account after she sent him the password.
The 30-year-old will remain in custody for the duration of the trial. He refused to provide explanations. His lawyer says he is participating in therapy, while denying that his family has disowned him.
