Several pilgrims who attended the canonization of Arsenie Boca requested medical help. Two people, transported to hospital

The medical crews present at the Prislop Monastery, where the canonization ceremonies of Arsenie Boca took place, assisted a number of 24 pilgrims on Friday, two of them, an adult and a child, being transported to the hospital, reports ISU Hunedoara.
In total, on Friday, 24 people received medical assistance: 22 adults and 2 children. Among them, 2 people, a 13-year-old child and an adult, were transported to the hospital for further investigations, according to the source cited by News.ro.
According to ISU Hunedoara, in order to support those in difficulty, medical crews from the Hunedoara County Ambulance Service and UPU – SMURD, as well as from the “SALVITAL” Association, were present, along with firefighters.
“Our colleagues will continue to stay at Prislop, until Sunday, to ensure that every moment of this event takes place in the best conditions”, assure the ISU representatives.
They also have some recommendations for pilgrims: “Use lit candles and candles carefully; avoid driving with lit candles in vehicles; keep escape routes clear; park so that emergency vehicles can have access at any time.”

In mid-July last year, the Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church approved 16 canonizations, including those of Dumitru Stăniloae, Arsenie Boca and Ilie Cleopa. According to the BOR decision, Father Arsenie Boca was canonized with the title “Holy Pious Confessor Arsenie of Prislop” and is celebrated on November 28.
