Jordan Ikoko, the holder of the right back position at Dinamo in the absence of Maxime Sivis, was injured in the 57th minute of the game between the “dogs” and Oțelul Galați, in stage #18 of the Superliga.
Dinamo is “on the ropes” at the right defender position, given that Maxime Sivis is also injured. For the “dogs” a tough week follows with a trip to Constanța for a match with Farul in the Romanian Cup and the derby with FCSB in stage #19, scheduled for December 6.
Jordan Ikoko left Dinamo – Oțelul Galati injured
In the 57th minute of the game, without any contact, Jordan Ikoko put himself on the turf and accused muscle problems. A few moments later the footballer left the playing field, and Antonio Bordușanu entered in his place.
Thus, Dinamo could be in the situation of not having a right defender in the matches with Farul and FCSB. Andrei Nicolescu declared two days ago that Sivis “is for the better”, without mentioning how long it would take for Dinamo's right back to be fit. At the same time, depending on the severity of the injury, Ikoko could also be put on the circuit. The breakdown variant for the “dogs” would be Antonio Bordușanu, at the extreme base, but who has also been used on the flank of the defense.
Dinamo has several injured players
The 'Dogs are not looking too good in terms of fit players ahead of the week when they face Farul and FCSB. Alexandru Musi, the main U21 option was injured, but so were Cristi Mihai, Danny Armstrong and Cristian Licsandru. At the press conference prior to the match with Galați, the Croatian technician conveyed the fact that “Danny will return soon, Sivis and Cristi Mihai as well, Licsandru still has some time left”, without clearly mentioning when they will return. It is clear that Musi and Licsandru will not be part of the team for the next matches.
