The Prime Minister comments on great inflation data. “I know it's boring”

On the X platform, the head of government emphasized that inflation had once again positively surprised analysts.
“I know it's boring, but in November, inflation was again lower than forecast: 2.4 percent“- he wrote.
“Christmas shopping will no longer be a price horror as it was during the PiS government,” added Donald Tusk.
Let us recall that according to the Central Statistical Office's announcement on Friday, CPI inflation amounted to only 2.4% in November. year to year. This is the lowest price increase in 20 months, i.e. since June 2024.
Analysts predicted a price increase of 2.6%, so this is a big positive surprise. On a monthly basis, prices increased by only 0.1%.

Food and energy are becoming more expensive at the fastest rate
Over the year, the highest – 2.7% increase – was recorded in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages and energy. What limited inflation the most are fuel prices.
On the other hand, they were the factor that accelerated prices the most on a monthly, not yearly basis, as they went up by 2.2%.
