Registration for the XXI Krasnoyarsk City Forum has started. It will be held on December 5 at the SFU congress hall and will be dedicated to the formation and development of urban communities.

The general theme of the event: “Honoring history, creating the future.” Anyone can visit various sites, propose their ideas and become part of large projects.

“This year the forum will unite about ten large urban communities and their leaders. The main events will be a plenary session with the participation of federal experts on urban development, a patriotic concert “The Living Word of History,” 15 negotiation platforms, including a panel discussion “Involving residents, the public and business in preparations for the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of Krasnoyarsk,” a round table “Greening Strategy: Urban Solutions,” the mayor’s office said.

In addition, from the very morning there will be a unique photo exhibition of the project of Krasnoyarsk artists “Donbass – the salt of the Russian land” (project of the Romanov Art Galleries). Also at the forum, the winners of the annual city competitions will be awarded: “Krasnoyarsk is man-made”, “Family is the soul and strength of Krasnoyarsk”, “Educational Championship”, “Best socially oriented non-profit organization of the city”, social advertising competition and “Factory of People's Initiatives”.

“The Krasnoyarsk City Forum is an immersion in the current city agenda, meeting leaders of city communities, an opportunity to propose your ideas and become part of big projects. This year we prepared not only a business program, but also paid special attention to the cultural part. After the plenary session, an hour-long patriotic concert will take place, where the main participants will be schoolchildren-researchers, theater studio artists, and a combined choir. They will literally bring our history to life in their rooms. It will be insightful and meaningful,” said Zhanna Khodos-Shikileva, deputy head of the city’s department.
