Donald Tusk comments on Viktor Orban's visit to Putin. Strong words are spoken

In the entry on the X website, the Prime Minister referred to Viktor Orban's visit to Vladimir Putin, Karol Nawrocki's planned trip to Hungary, the confusion surrounding the Witkoff plan and the political crisis in Ukraine.
In Moscow, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The talks were to focus primarily on supplies of Russian oil and gas to Hungary and the situation related to the war in Ukraine. It was Orban's first visit to Russia since July 2024.

The president is going to Hungary
Meanwhile, President Karol Nawrocki is preparing for a visit to Hungary. On Wednesday, he will take part in the summit of the presidents of the Visegrad Group countries in Esztergom, and on Thursday, together with his wife, he will pay an official visit to Budapest. Meetings with Hungarian President Tamas Sulyok and Prime Minister Orban are planned.
In turn, a political earthquake occurred in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the head of his chancellery, Andriy Yermak, has resigned. Yermak is under investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) as part of the “Midas” corruption scandal. On Friday, NABU and the Special Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) conducted a search in his apartment.
Contacts with Putin's advisor
Donald Tusk also referred to reports from Bloomberg, which on Tuesday published details of the conversation between Steve Witkoff, special envoy of the US President, and Vladimir Putin's advisor, Yuri Ushakov. The transcript shows that Witkoff allegedly advised the Russian on how to deal with former US President Donald Trump before his meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Orban visits Putin, Nawrocki visits Orban. Chaos in the negotiations over the Witkoff plan, and a political crisis in Kiev. A fatal combination,” wrote Prime Minister Tusk on the X platform, summarizing the tense situation on the international political scene.
