In Krasnoyarsk until the end of this year the capital construction department contractor will have to dismantle a car service center, a garage, a car wash, a permanent building and an unfinished construction site built without permits.
“AWOLs” are located on Glinka, Timoshenkova and Volzhskaya streets, Svyazistov and Zavodskoye passages. As the mayor's office said, these objects were identified from 2020 to 2024, but for a long time the owners tried to prove the legality of the buildings. So, on Volzhskaya, 7, an entrepreneur built a car wash from blocks and argued in court that this was a temporary structure. The same situation arose at Glinka, 30b, where a car service center was built without documents 5 years ago.
Funds spent on dismantling these facilities will be recovered from the owners in court. In total, in 2025, 9.7 million rubles were allocated from the budget of Krasnoyarsk for the demolition of 14 unauthorized objects.
“In most cases, dismantling is possible only through the court, as required by the administrative procedure. So, recently the Department of Urban Development won a court case against a building located on 60 Let Oktyabrya Street – Krasnoyarsk built a two-story garage and now within three months it must demolish the second floor. Another decision has been made regarding the cafe on Svobodny – the owner must demolish it. The same fate will befall a two-story non-residential building on Energetikov Street with an area of 408 square meters. m. For all capital objects that are planned to be used for commercial purposes, it is necessary to obtain a construction permit,” said the head of the urban planning department, Sergei Shikunov, adding that immediate plans include work on a dozen objects.
