Weather records at the end of autumn. Years when there were summer temperatures in the last days of November

15 years ago, in Oltenita, the temperature exceeded 25 °C on the penultimate day of November, although the normal would have been below 10 °C. ANM data shows that there were such amazingly warm days almost 100 years ago in the west of the country.
Temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius are very rare at the end of November in Romania and have appeared only a few times in the last century. ANM data show that such summer values were recorded in 1926, but also in 2010.
And in November 2025, there were very high temperatures towards the end of the month: +23.2 °C in Călărași.

The highest temperature ever measured on the last day of November was +22.4 °C, in Câmpina, in 1930. Câmpina also holds the absolute heat record for December, +23.4 °C, on December 5, 1985.
In Bucharest-Filaret, the record for the third decade of November was registered on November 27, 1969 and was 22 degrees Celsius, ANM data also show.
